Find your projects listed under the My Projects menu.
You can browse your projects by clicking on the 'Pending', 'Confirmed,' and 'Completed' tabs. Choose one of these tabs to see your projects listed accordingly. You can filter projects using the drop-downs or by typing keywords into the search bar in the middle.
- Pending Projects: Search your project(s) by Address, Permit Number, or Project Number in the left drop-down.
- Confirmed Projects: Search your project(s) by Address, Permit Number, Project Number, or Agency in the left drop-down.
- Completed Projects: Search your project(s) by Address, Permit Number, Project Number, or Agency in the left drop-down.
Filter by project types using the right dropdown, including:
- Regular Inspections
- Special Inspections
- Legacy Projects
- DOEE Inspections
About My Projects
- In your list of 'Pending' projects, you can view inspectors or delete your project(s).
Click on the 'See Inspectors' button to access information about the project that hasn't been verified by an agency. You'll see:
- Project Number
- Permit Number
- Inspections
- Where: The address where the inspection is requested
- When: The time dedicated for the inspection, indicating whether it's long-term or short-term.
The number of inspections required is displayed. Click on the small arrow to view detailed inspection plans.
- In your list of 'Confirmed' projects, you can see your projects listed and information about them:
- Project Number
- Permit(s)
- Address
- Project Owner
- Agency
Navigate to the project detail page of your project by clicking on the 'View and Manage' button.
Details on the project page include:
- Address
- Agency
- Site Contact
- Project Owner
Expand sections by clicking on arrows to:
- Add a new permit by clicking 'Add new permit.'
- View inspection types and details.
Scroll to review:
- Payment Arrangement
- Site Contact Information
- Payment Method
- Scheduled Inspections
- Supplementary Documents
Edit site contact information and payment method by clicking on the 'Edit' button.
For scheduled inspections, check the status and click on the 'Open report' button to view the report.
Print the report by clicking on the 'Print Pdf' button.
Scroll down to view the details of the report. At the bottom of the page, rate and review the Agency you worked with by clicking on the stars and describing the quality of the service the third-party agency provided.
Click on the red 'Contact Agency to Schedule Inspection' button to be redirected to the Messaging page, where you can send direct messages to the agency.

- Project Number
- Permit(s)
- Address
- Project Owner
- Status
Messaging threads are linked to individual projects. When a project is initiated between you and an agency, a corresponding messaging thread is established. Discuss inspection details, scheduling, or other requirements with your agency through these threads. Department of Buildings (DOB) administrators also access these threads to facilitate communication and oversee project discussions.
Inbox
Find contacts for any project under 'Inbox.' To start a conversation, select the contact card and type in the chat box. Locate prior conversations using the 'Search Messages' field.
To start a conversation, select the contact card and type in the chat box, then click on the send icon.
To move a conversation from the 'Inbox' to 'Archived', select 'Archive this conversation.'
Archived
View archived conversations under 'Archived.' To restore a conversation to the 'Inbox', click 'Restore this conversation.'
Under Payments, you can see three sections:
- Multiple Inspection Payments
- Single Inspection Payments
- Payment Information
There are two payment arrangement types, specified by the third-party agency in the proposal:
- Multiple Inspections Payment: The client pays for inspections in groups or phases as agreed upon with the third-party agency.
- Single Inspection Payment: The third-party agency requests payment after each inspection event.
Search your payments using the options below:

Type keywords into the search bar on the right.

Use the 'Search by' bar to filter them by:
- Address
- Permit Number
- Project Number
- Agency
- Use the 'Payment Status' bar to filter them by:
- Payment Pending
- Payment In Progress
- Payment Failed
- Paid
Adjust the 'Date from' and 'Date to' fields to narrow down your searches.
Click on the 'Reset' button to clear your search parameters.
- Payment Information: Add a new credit/debit card or bank account. Manage your existing credit/debit cards or bank accounts.
For Credit/Debit Cards

Click on 'Add new Credit/Debit Card.' You will be navigated to DOB payment detail page.

Enter payment details:
- Card information
- Cardholder name
- Country or region

Click on 'Save card'
For Bank Accounts

Click on 'Add new Bank Account.' You will be navigated to DOB payment detail page.

Enter payment details:
- Full name
- Bank account

Click on 'Set up bank account.'
Under Profile, you have the options to:
- Add a profile photo
- Edit your account data
- Include invoice details
- To view and edit your account data, click on 'Edit.'
- Edit your profile information in the provided editable area, then click on 'Save.'
Access the Accela Marketplace User Guide for Clients in PDF format by clicking on the User Guide in the sidebar.
In the Company and Users menu, you can edit company and invoice details, add new users, and customize permissions.

Under Settings, you can deactivate your profile or delete your account. It is advised to deactivate your profile if you don't want to use Accela Marketplace, as deleting your account means it can no longer be used, so creating a new account would be necessary.
